Product Description

Specifically designed and manufactured to provide CRYSTAL CLEAR communications to help create a safer work environment, which increases PRODUCTIVITY and lowers the risk of LIABILITY.

Safe Smart Construction 3 Frequencies Intercom
Remotely Video WiFi Doorbell
Safety First: Mainly used on construction and temporary Hoists/Elevators, it is recommended by OSHA and considered the industry standard in the USA, Canada, and Australia.

Communication is critical to provide workers a way to contact the elevator operator in case of an emergency. When a worker is hurt, seconds count to get medical attention. As a general intercom system, it allows supervisors and workers to locate and communicate with each other, reducing down time tremendously.

Intercom System Overview

  • All units interchangeable
  • No antenna wire required
  • Two way communications
  • Volume controlled Car Units
  • Powered by safe 24 volts DC
  • Multiple frequency channels
  • Emergency alarm switches
  • Extreme weather operation
  • Backup battery power supply
  • Heavy duty composite Nylon enclosure
  • Microphone gain adjustment
  • Mute function availability

Functional Features

The signal transmission is carried out using the protection loop line. The signal is stable and reliable, and special communication cables are not required. The signal line and power line are not connected with high voltage, ensuring system safety.

No electromagnetic wave pollution; no need to apply for radio frequency. Can be used in elevator-intensive construction areas without mutual interference. Features include electronic volume control, squelch function, and three available frequencies for clear voice quality.

Specification Parameters:
• Supply Voltage: 220V AC or 110V AC
• Effective Range: More than 300m (Conductor loop resistance < 600 ohm)
• Three Frequencies Available: 250KHz, 741KHz, or 800KHz

System Installation

Floor Installation: Connect the intercom with the accessory power cable. A dedicated power supply device can drive fewer than twenty units. The protective grounding wire passing through the coupler cannot be grounded in the middle ground.

Lifting Cage Installation: Connect the intercom, call device power supply, and coupler. In the lift cage, the protective ground wire passes through the hole of the coupler and connects with the ground.

Troubleshooting

Issue Potential Cause / Explanation
Communication Failure Protective ground wire of the coupler is grounded in the middle, or basket earth wires are not connected.
Poor Communication High resistance caused by ground wiring and/or poor connection points.
Motor Interference Cables require better shielding to isolate from electric motor noise.
Q

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does this system require a special radio frequency license?
No, there is no electromagnetic wave pollution, and you do not need to apply for a radio frequency to operate this system.
2. What is the maximum effective communication range?
The system provides an effective range of more than 300 meters, provided the conductor loop resistance is less than 600 ohms.
3. Can the system operate during a power outage?
Yes, the Car unit includes a backup battery power supply to ensure communication remains functional during power emergencies.
4. How many frequencies are available to avoid interference?
There are three available frequencies: 250KHz, 741KHz, and 800KHz, which provide clear and natural voice transmission.
5. Is the equipment durable enough for outdoor construction sites?
Absolutely. The units are housed in heavy-duty composite Nylon Plastic enclosures and are designed to operate in extreme weather conditions.
6. What safety standards does this intercom system meet?
The system is recommended by OSHA and is considered an industry standard for safety in the USA, Canada, and Australia.
