Intercom system 3 frequency device
Wireless Voice Intercom Application

Safety First

Mainly used on construction and temporary Hoists/Elevators, it is recommended by OSHA and considered the industry standard. Communication is critical to provide workers a way to contact the elevator operator in case of an emergency. When a worker is hurt, seconds count to get medical attention.

Key Features

  • All units interchangeable
  • No antenna wire required
  • Two way communications
  • Volume controlled Car Units
  • Powered by safe 24 volts DC
  • Multiple frequency channels
  • Emergency alarm switches
  • Extreme weather operation
  • Backup battery power supply
  • Heavy duty Nylon Plastic enclosure
  • Microphone gain adjustment
  • Mute function limits broadcast

Functional & Technical Parameters

The signal transmission is carried out by using the protection loop line. The signal is stable and reliable, and special communication cables are not required. It produces no electromagnetic wave pollution and can be used in construction elevator intensive areas without mutual interference.

System Installation

Floor Installation: Connect the intercom with the accessory power cable. Note: a dedicated power supply device can drive less than twenty units. The protective ground wire passes through the hole of the coupler and is connected with the ground. Important: grounding wire cannot be grounded in the middle ground.

Lifting Cage Installation: Connect the cage intercom, power supply, and coupler. Ensure the protective ground wire passes through the hole of the coupler and is securely connected with the ground in the lift cage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What should I check if there is a communication failure? Check if the protective ground wire of the coupler is grounded in the middle ground, or if the ground wire in the hanging basket is disconnected.
Q2: What causes poor communication quality? Poor communication is often caused by high resistance in the ground wiring or loose connections in the system.
Q3: How do I resolve interference from electric motors? If motor interference occurs, ensure that the cables used have proper shielding as specified in the technical parameters.
Q4: Do I need a radio frequency license to use this intercom? No, this system uses a protection loop line for transmission, so there is no electromagnetic wave pollution and no need to apply for radio frequencies.
Q5: Can this system operate in extreme weather? Yes, the system is designed with a heavy-duty composite Nylon Plastic enclosure to operate reliably in extreme weather conditions.
Q6: Is there an emergency backup for the car unit? Yes, the car units include a backup battery power supply to ensure communication remains active during power interruptions.
